Miracast issues between STEM Cams (TT-12W, MO-2, MA-1) and third-party receivers
We cannot guarantee compatibility for Miracast connections between ELMO STEM cams and non-ELMO receivers. Please contact the manufacturer of your Miracast device or smart display and verify:
1. The type of connection; peer-to-peer or network. This will determine how to setup the STEM camera's WiFi settings.
2. Compatibility with connections from an AndroidOS 5 device. STEM cameras run AndroidOS 5 and many newer receivers will not accept connections from devices under AndroidOS 8.
3. The need for an additional app. Some receivers require you to access the GooglePlay store to download a casting app. The STEM Cameras do not have support for the GooglePlay store and apps will need to be sideloaded. App compatibility with AndroidOS 5 will need to be confirmed with developers.
