MX-P3 Secure Spec Overview

For sensitive government, military, and corporate environments the MX-P3 Secure Spec model has been modified to enhance security without compromising core features; Secure Spec cameras have image, video, and audio recording disabled.

Secure Spec models will still have original hardware, but features are disabled by firmware making them inaccessible. 


Secure Spec models also have their software modified to block out settings related to recording and SD card access, and have firmware different from normal models.

You can confirm your version using the Settings Menu's firmware version page. Secure Spec firmware is 'EL-CAI180-2033'.
