PX-10E Firmware update

This guide is intended for advanced users only.

This guide will show you how to update the firmware of your device. Photos in this guide are of the PX-30E, but the process is the same across all PX series devices.

To update your device, you will need the following items:

● PX series Device

● SD Card; Must be SD or SDHC. Micro SD and SDXC will not work.

● Firmware files

● AC Adapter

1. Copy the firmware files to an empty, formatted SD card. Filenames may differ depending on version.

2. Shut off your PX device and disconnect the power cable.

3. Insert the SD card into your PX device.

4. Hold down the AF button and the Power button on the ELMO at the same time.

5. Insert the AC power connector while simultaneously pressing the AF button and the Power button.

6. When the power button LED starts blinking Green then the unit is processing the update. You can now stop pressing the two buttons.

7. The power button LED will start blinking Blue when the update is finished. Unplug the AC adapter and remove the SD card now.

8. You may now reconnect the AC adapter and use the device as normal. You can confirm the update was completed by checking the camera information menu on the LCD screen.
