Connecting via USB - Direct
Connect your document camera to your display using the proper USB cable.

If your interactive display has a preinstalled camera
application, you may be able to use this application to view your document camera.
With a preinstalled camera application may be able to display the camera image, you may not be able to view the full resolution your document camera has to offer and/or you may not be able to control your camera
functions (zoom, brightness, freeze, etc.).If your interactive display has a preinstalled
Chromium-based web browser you can utilize ELMO’s cloud-based software
resource, Image Mate + Cloud. Examples include Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera.


Chromium web browsers are built on the Google Chrome browser source. To confirm if your browser is compatible, please contact your
display manufacturer.
Open your browser and go to imagemate-c.com. Once you allow the site to access the
connected camera, you will be able to use all the functions of your Document
Camera.
Connecting via HDMI or VGA
Connect your document camera to your display using the proper cabling. Enter your display’s input section options and choose the input that the Document Camera is connected.

Most interactive displays have a feature for annotation over
a connected video feed. Use your display’s toolbar to select the option for
annotation over a connected video feed. You should now be able to view the live video feed from your document camera while being able to annotate over the video.

Connecting via USB - PC or OPS
Connecting an external computer to your display is similar to the connection setup above (Connecting via HDMI or
VGA).

You would also need to connect your document camera to your
PC.
Some interactive displays have a computer built into them (an OPS). These can usually be located on the side of the display. You can instead connect your document camera directly into this computer using a USB cable.

Please keep in mind that this setup is different than the above USB setup (Connecting via USB - Direct) as the OPS is a separate system from your display. For more information please contact your display manufacturer.
Enter your display’s input section options and choose the OPS option.
Use your display’s toolbar to select the option for
annotation over a connected video feed. You should now be able to view the live video feed from your
Document Camera while being able to annotate over the video.

Connecting wirelessly - TT-12W, MA-1 & MO-2 Only
The TT-12W, MA-1, and MO-2 have Miracast Wireless Display technology built into the camera.
If your interactive display has a built in casting receiver that supports Miracast you may be able to connect your camera to your interactive display wirelessly.
Active your casting app or activate the casting receiver.

For assistance with using or activating your casting app or casting receiver, please contact your display manufacturer
Connect your Document Camera to a display and navigate to the Home menu. Then, open the Miracast app. Please note that Miracast cannot be used if the USB Camera setting is enabled.
Select your display to begin casting.

You can then enter the ELMO's Settings Menu to enable auto reconnect. From now on, the ELMO will automatically start wirelessly casting when powered on in range of the display if it is accepting connections. Please note that this is not guaranteed to work with all display devices.

If your interactive display does not have a built-in casting app or receiver, or it is not compatible, you can use an ELMO Cast Wireless Multimedia Receiver with your wireless document camera and interactive display.
