ELMO TT-12 Series Loose Head Assembly

It has come to our attention that certain TT-12 Series units have been shipped with less than the required torque applied to the screws that tighten the camera head assembly, which keeps the assembly in the horizontal position. The following fix should be applied to remedy the problem.


Step 1: Disconnect power from your TT-12 Series Camera



Step 2: Remove four (4) screws (using #0 Philips driver) as shown in Figure 1:




Step 3: Pinch slightly inward at point outlined in Figure 2 while lifting the top cover off of the unit.




Step 4: Tighten seven (7) screws (using #2 Philips driver) following the number sequence in Figure 3. Ensure that the head assembly is in the horizontal position prior to tightening. WARNING: Do not over tighten the screws. Doing so will cause the plastic underneath to strip and the screw will be unable to hold properly.




Step 5: Replace top cover by snapping it securely in place.



Step 6: Replace four (4) screws removed in step 2.
